Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The position will
also require after hours patient/schedule responsibility. Will be required to take part in the on-call rotation.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Manager is responsible for managing the non-clinical functions of the office. Directing 2 or more full-
time administrative assistants for the office and oversee a wide range of complex, confidential, and administrative
responsibilities for the Administrator/Branch Administrator and CFO, including the planning, coordination, and
directing of activities associated with the overall operation of the office in general. The Office Manager provides
leadership and on-site supervision for assigned administrative assistant positions. He/she exercises discretion and
independent judgment in matters of significance, and ensures the general operations are functioning to maximum
ability. He/she performs work directly related to assisting with the business operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience with supervision of administrative support staff
preferred.
2. Three (3) years of management experience required.
3. Home Health experience highly preferred.
4. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
5. Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
6. Ability to work independently.
7. Demonstrates strong financial management skills
8. Ability to work with people to establish goals and objectives.
9. Ability to prioritize, delegate and meet deadlines.
10. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in problem solving.
11. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record (as determined by the employer) is required for this
position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Manage and lead 2 or more full-time clerical support staff on a daily bases. Including planning,
organizing, and reviewing work, setting performance expectations. Participating in hiring/firing process by
interviewing, hiring, participate in management meetings regarding corrective action plans for employees,
and termination. Exercise independent judgment on matters of significant ( i.e., personnel issues, patient
complaints, scheduling issues, payroll problems, on boarding and prioritizing office functions)
2. Create, implement and oversee on boarding and ongoing training opportunities for all Administrative
Assistants and Office Staff, including planning and presenting weekly meetings to clarify expectations and
direct responsibilities.
3. Assists the Administrator, Branch Administrator, Supervising Nurse/Alternate Supervising Nurse.
4. Formulate, interpret or implement and maintain all office/branch manuals, policies, contracts and other
essential documents.
5. Develop operating procedures and processes to ensure effective and efficient office operations (HR,
Scheduling, Payroll, and Finance).
6. Manage organizational recruiting and onboarding functions to fill vacancies.
6. Oversees employee time keeping systems and transmits information for payroll purposes.
7. Participates in the QA/QI plan and processes, weekly management meetings.
8. Audit patient medical records for accuracy of information related to the billing process.
9. Maintain confidentiality for all work-related information.
10. Regular daily worksite attendance is an essential function of this job to execute the work efficiently and
effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Requires the mobility to work in an office environment.
2. Requires the ability to sit at desk for long periods of time and intermittently walk, stand, stoop, kneel,
crouch, climb stairs, and reach while performing office functions; use hands to finger, handle or feel
objects, tools or controls; lift and/or move light weights.
3. Must be able to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making
observations, communicating with others, reading and writing, and operating office equipment.
4. Must be able to use a telephone to communicate verbally and a keyboard to communicate through
written means, to review information and enter/retrieve data, to see and read characters on a computer
screen.
5. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
6. Requires ability to drive for long periods of time.
